Reverend Michael Caldwell

I never expected God would call me to a tourist destination, but here I am—Pastor, Priest, and Teacher at a faithful, welcoming little (small but mighty!) Episcopal parish tucked into the heart of Wisconsin. It's a good place to serve, pray, laugh, and share life with people who love God, love each other, and love a well-run coffee hour.

I grew up learning that faith isn't about having all the answers—it's about daring to ask the deep questions. That curiosity eventually led me into ordained ministry and to the surprising joy of parish life in a resort town (an oasis of calm surrounded by the Waterpark Capital of the World) where the seasons change faster than the Sunday bulletin.

My ministry leans toward the personal and the practical: helping people discover God's grace in ordinary moments, not just behind hallowed halls. I love preaching that connects the Gospel to real life, building community that feels like family (the good kind, not the dysfunctional kind so many of us know too well), and finding ways to make worship meaningful, to carry beauty, depth, and humor in equal measure.

When I'm not at the church, I'm usually coaching my son's soccer team, reading, writing, or tinkering with more storage drives than any one priest probably needs. I try to keep body and soul aligned with nature; but that usually means mowing, raking, or shoveling.

What I love most about our parish is its heart—the way people here show up for one another, and for anyone who walks through the door. If you're curious about faith, or looking for a place where you can be yourself and still be welcomed, come join us some Sunday. You'll fit right in.

Reverend Brad Osborn

Brad's day job is demanding: he serves as a global risk manager for a Fortune-50 company. But his true passion lies in serving the church and community as a dedicated deacon.

Brad brings a strong background to his ministry, holding a criminal justice degree and a business degree, and having attended Trinity Seminary in Deerfield, IL. He was ordained as a deacon in 2022 and has been an active part of the Holy Cross community for three years.

His ministry in the Wisconsin Dells area is broad and deeply engaged with the community, including:

  • Police and hospital chaplaincy

  • Various acts of service for non-profits

  • Helping to establish the Alpha course at Holy Cross

  • Serving as contemporary worship leader at Holy Cross

Brad is a father to two daughters in Illinois and one in nearby Reedsburg, WI. If you're out on the town, you may even find him occasionally playing in a jazz trio in the lounge at a local supper club.
