News Blast for Sunday August 9, 2026
*For the month of August we will be collecting toilet paper for Community Action.
*Fr. Michael will be on vacation August, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 17, 18 and 20.
*We will have healing during the August 9, 2026 eucharist.
*Mark your calendars for Sunday, August 16, 2026 as there will be the celebration of the 5th year of the Unity Worship Service in Bowman Park. The service to begin at 10:00 a.m. with a picnic and games to follow. Deacon Brad, Father Michael and Sue White will all be contributing to the service. There will be no Eucharist at Holy Cross on the 16th.
*You are all invited to the wedding of Deacon Brad and Bonnie Gjavenis on Saturday, August 29, 2026.
*There will be joint Sunday service on August 30, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. with the Dells Delton Methodist Church and a cook-out to follow.
* The Fall Alpha course will begin on Wednesday, September 16th. We alternate host locations between Trinity Baraboo and Holy Cross. The last course was held at Holy Cross, so this Fall, the course will be back at Trinity Baraboo. Limited transportation may be available for those who cannot drive. Childcare may also be available if the demand is there. Sessions consist of: -meal -2 songs of worship -video or live talk -small group discussion. Each session begins at 5:30 and ends promptly at 7:30. (One tenant of Alpha is to respect people's time, so each session always ends precisely at 7:30.) Alpha is an environment of exploring the Christian faith. It is not a Bible study. It is a place where there are no 'right' answers. It is an opportunity for you, whether you are a season Christian, or someone who is just curious. The Alpha logo is a question mark.
