News Blast for Sunday, December 7, 2025

*For December we will be collecting tooth brushes and tooth paste for Community Action.

*Next Sunday we will have healing with the Eucharist.

*The form for purchasing poinsettias for Christmas Eve will be available at the church.

*Do I Have an Impact? The Haiti Partnership is already changing lives in Jeannette.  Children are receiving education, families are supported, and local leaders are shaping their own future.  St. Marc’s has raised up kids to go on to be doctors, agronomists, and more.  Stories and photos from the community remind us:  this isn’t aid from afar-----it’s neighbors walking together in faith.  You do have an impact that lasts. * Join us after the service each Sunday in Advent for our Advent study on Names for the Messiah by Walter Brueggemann. Weather kept us from gathering last Sunday, so we’ll cover both weeks 1 and 2 together.  It’s a rich, accessible look at Isaiah’s promise and the hope we carry into this season. Books are available at no cost in the church office - while supplies last.  Come, settle in, and let’s explore the meaning of Advent’s promise together.

*Mark your calendars! Plan on joining us at 10:15 on Sunday, December 21 for a Christmas cookie/treat exchange. Bring two dozen of our favorite holiday treats to exchange with your Episcopal/Methodist brother and sisters. You will get to take home two dozen of deliciousness (that you didn’t have to make) for Christmas Day.

*Our Christmas Eve service will be at 7:00 p.m. this year.
