News Blast for Sunday, November 9, 2025
*For November we will be collecting Women’s Sanitary Products for Community Action.
*We will have healing during the Eucharist, this Sunday, November 9, 2025.
*It is Stewardship season!! Stewardship Sunday will be on November 16, 2025. A breakfast will follow the Eucharist and there will be a sign up sheet at church this coming Sunday for the breakfast.
*Our ecumenical Thanksgiving service will be on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at 6:30 p.m.
*Sunday, November 30, 2025 will be our fifth Sunday fellowship meal with our Methodist brothers and sisters. Please bring a dish to share if you are able. Fellowship and meal will start directly after our service. We ask that you plan to stay after to help with the cleanup. Many hands make light work.
*Mark your calendars! Plan on joining us at 10:15 on Sunday, December 21 for a Christmas cookie/treat exchange. Bring two dozen of our favorite holiday treats to exchange with your Episcopal/Methodist brother and sisters. You will get to take home two dozen of deliciousness (that you didn’t have to make) for Christmas Day.
*Christmas Tree Decorating on River Walk. Decorating starts on Monday November 17th at 9 and Jan will be there “early” to pick out a tree for us. It took us a couple of hours last year - there were 4 or 5 of us. If the weather is really nasty that day Jan still go to secure our tree and then we can decorate on Tuesday, November 18, 2025. Volunteers are appreciated!!
*Giving Tree of Sauk County – We have requested one family with up to 4 children. Gift tags will be to us by mid November. Each child gets 4 gifts - underwear/socks/diapers, a toy, and 2 articles of clothing. The family also gets a $25 gift card (I’m thinking generic such as Visa vs specific store). I’ll keep you posted and once we have the gift tags I’ll have a box/basket for our gifts.
