News Blast for Sunday October 12, 2025

*For October we will be collecting Kleenex for Community Action. There is a box, next to the Community Action basket, that is for candy donated for the bags filled by Community Action for the Santa Train.

*LAST CHANCE:  When the hanging rod in one of the closets in the Sacristy fell, so did many vestments – most of which we have not used in at least three years. They are now in Fr. Michaels office with no place to call home nor anyone to use them. They can, however, bless someone else, somewhere else. Without objection, I would like to take these vestments to Diocesan Convention in October and donate them to the diocesan “closet”. If you have a personal interest in any of these vestments, please come by the office or let me know as soon as possible. Thank you!

*Annual Convention will be at Stevens Point on October 10 & 11.

*Schedule for concession stand for Volleyball: October, 9, 13 and 20. Anyone contributing items for the Volleyball concession stand can drop them off at the church. There is a box in the kitchen labeled for the concession stand.

*The next meeting for the Alpha Course to be held on Monday evening from 5:30 to 7:30 PM on October 13, 2025 at Holy Cross. 

*We will have healing with the Eucharist this Sunday, October 12, 2025

*Christmas Tree Decorating on River Walk. Jan has a new set of lights, and some decorations from last year, but we could use some new ones too.  Decorating is scheduled for November 17th and 18th between 9am-5pm. More details to follow including a signup sheet. 

Giving Tree of Sauk County - We will be sponsoring a family again this year.  More information to follow.
